Enterprise Software Company seeking talented Telemarking/Sales Professional
About the company:
We are the developers of a well established line of customer service streamlining & automation software tools based in Mid-town Manhattan. Vertical implementations of our products and services are sold to the following industries: Healthcare, Telecom, Government, Education, Finance, Pharmaceuticals, & Retail. Our existing customer base is comprised of both Fortune 500 companies as well as small to medium sized multi-branch Credit Unions, Small Banking Networks, Retail Stores, Hospitals, Clinics, Government Offices, etc.
Immediate Daily responsibilities:
You’ll be responsible for creating sales opportunities on a national level.
* Cold calling corporate contacts from a provided opportunity/lead list. Starting with a single source contact provided, you are responsible for mining the company, identifying and searching for the appropriate employees to make an offering, making the 1st contact, communicating with secretaries, sending print materials, and scheduling a demonstration of our product.
* First line of sales – Once you have scheduled a demonstration you will be responsible for accessing the customers needs and communicating the collected information to the sales manager. For smaller opportunities you will do the web presentation (once trained effectively); for larger opportunities, the presentation will be made by another party assigned by the sales manager (eventually you will become a total lead presenter)
* Working with the sales manager to establish new strategic customer prospects and leads sources within specific industries of interest.

• Outstanding Customer Service & professional telephone skills
• Upbeat and energetic
• Track record of establishing strong relationships
• Team player – must have strong desire to make a difference
• Strong Closer
• At least 2 years of proven B2B sales experience
• A positive and persistent attitude is a must
• Computer proficiency and Internet familiarity is required
• Microsoft office tools: You must be proficient in Microsoft products, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• You must type a minimum of 30 words per minute.
Technical Background:
* “Beyond fundamentals”: We are seeking a professional personality who is capable of communicating like an engineer/consultant while wearing the telemarketing “sales hat”. Again, this is not a traditional cold telemarketing job, we do not utilize a traditional telemarketing approach, we take the time to consult with and understand the customers business. As the nature of our business is software automation—candidates must be capable of truly understanding the benefits of our software and its impact on the potential client.
We offer an excellent compensation package and training.
Base Salary (Starting from $30,000 and up based on experience) + Commissions
On-going professional sales and industry training
